Born in the former U.S.S.R., Dr Watkins studied medicine at the Medical University of Lugansk and qualified as a medical practitioner in 1984. In 1991, following her move to the United Kingdom and receiving registration to practice medicine here, she was offered a position in the University Hospital of Wales.
Continuing her learning she went on to gain further qualifications to practice as a General Practitioner in the U. K. It was whilst she was at the University Hospital that her specialist skills were noted and she was encouraged to put those skills to use in the field of cosmetic dermatology.
Further training took place under Harley Street, German, and American specialists. Her vast experience in medicine was then furthered by personal research, which took her to specialists all around the world.
Dr Watkins personally founded the Exclusive Clinics where clients can be assured of our personal attention in all matters, at all times. A passion for the pursuit of excellence in the field of Cosmetology, integrity and discretion are just a few of the reasons behind the outstanding success of the clinics. Dr Watkins understood the concept of beauty and the laws of nature; her pursuit of excellence was coupled with the most diligent of research and wisdom.

Her work was her signature. Despite our untimely loss in 2006, The Dr Watkins Clinic now stands as a testament to her dedication and total authenticity. This is underlined by the care and commitment we continue to show each and every client. With pride we continue Yelena’s legacy through the talents of our highly qualified practitioners, many of whom were trained by Dr Watkins personally.
